Sometimes it is hard to sew with speciality fabrics like laminates, vinyls, faux leather, oil cloth and other sticky fabric substrates. The Janome Ultra Glide Foot and its accompanying Needle Plate Set gives you the ability to sew through challenging fabrics.
The UltraGlide Foot is made from a special resin that allows the foot to smoothly move across sticky surfaces that catch and grab a standard metal presser foot. The UltraGlide Needle Plate uses the same non-sticky technology as the foot so your project can flow under the foot without sticking to either surface.
