Issue # 28 - Late Summer & Early Fall | Sold Out

Our international panel of Janome Educators has created four unique t-shirt projects, each one appropriate for a different season. All were made using the CoverPro 1000CP Cover Hem Machine.

Ready-made t-shirts are also fun to embellish. Annette Venn of Australia shows you how to transform two tank top tees. She also uses the 1000CP.

The 2" x 2" Free Arm Hoop is unique to Memory Craft embroidery machines. Its tiny size makes it ideal for placing embroidery designs on the confined spaces of baby clothes. "Thinking Small with the Free Arm Hoop" shows you how to make two adorable overall and hat sets using Butterick and Kwik Sew patterns.

Pillows are fun because they can update the look of a bed or couch in a relatively short amount of time. "When Whitework Goes Wild" shows you how to use PC Design Card #1021 (Whitework Collection) to create a throw pillow and a neck pillow in any color you like.

"Power To The Pillow!" has complete instructions for making three bright, bold pillows. Choose from quilted, embroidered, and striped styles.

A sheer curtain lets in light while providing privacy. You can use any Janome machine to go beyond ordinary with "Sheer Delight Lace Curtain" contributed by Annette Venn.

Phyllis Pearson of Western Australia shows you how to make a lace scarf using decorative threads, stabilizer, and your CoverPro. The result is a scarf so unique and stylish, we put it on the cover of the digest.

Mia Ohberg of Sweden returns to our Youth Energy in Sewing section with beautiful examples of quilt squares created by children. Plus you'll get more inspiration and ideas from the projects in our sewist showcase.
