Lesson 4 - Manual Digitizing - The Branches
All the leaves have now been inserted into the design. We will now digitize the branches, walking to each small branch and digitizing it, then completing the long main branch.
Click the Run Line icon.
Click the Thread icon. Change to color Cocoa Brown #257.
Click a series of reference points from leaf 9 to the end of branch A.
Click the Turning Angle Fill icon.
Click a series of reference points in pairs to create branch A, starting at the leaf and ending in the main branch to avoid a gap when the main branch is sewn.
Press the Enter key.
Click the Run Line icon.
Click a series of reference points from branch A to branch B.
Click the Turning Angle Fill icon.
Click a series of reference points in pairs from the end of branch B into the main branch.
Click the Run Line icon.
Click a series of reference points from branch B to branch C.
Click the Turning Angle Fill icon.
Click a series of reference points in pairs from the end of branch C into branch D.
Click the Run Line icon.
Click a series of reference points from branch C to branch D.
Click the Turning Angle Fill icon.
Click a series of reference points in pairs from the end of branch D into the main branch.
Click the Run Line icon.
Click a series of reference points from branch D to the end of the main branch at leaf 5.
Click the Turning Angle Fill icon.
Click a series of reference points in pairs from the end of the main branch at leaf 5 to the end of the main branch near leaf 4.
