Sewing Instructions
1. Set up the Memory Craft 11000 Special Edition for professional-style embroidery. Attach the P foot, and thread the machine with Janome Acrylic Embroidery Thread and a Janome pre-wound bobbin.
2. Select Built-in Design 3. Select the Edit screen. To adjust the colours of your design to match your fabric, select the Colour icon. Forward through the pages, adjusting the colours as you go. When your colour selection is complete, touch OK. Touch OK again to send the design to the embroidery screen.
3. Fold back the seam allowances and hems on the pockets. Mark the center of each pocket.
4. Hoop one of the pockets with stabilizer in the ST hoop, centering the placement mark.

5. Embroider the design, using the new colour scheme. When the embroidery is complete, remove the pocket from the hoop and remove the excess stabilizer from the design.
6. To embroider the second pocket, return to the Edit screen. Select Mirror Image, and touch the icon for horizontal flip. Touch OK.
7. Hoop the second pocket with stabilizer, and embroider the design.
8. Change the Memory Craft 11000 Special Edition to ordinary sewing, using all purpose thread.
9. To sew the jumper, follow the pattern instructions through Step 19.
10. Sew the short ends of the 1 3/4” x 45” strips together, with right sides together. Press seam open.
11. Fold the strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together, and press.
12. Measure the width of the contrast band, and cut the strip to this measurement, adding seam allowances.

13. Sew the ends to make a circle. Baste the strip to the right side of the contrast band, matching raw edges.
14. Continue with the pattern instructions until the jumper is complete.

ENJOY!
