Using some gold organza and water soluble stabilizer you can create these elegant holiday ornaments for your tree or the top of that special package, one for each of the 12 Days of Christmas.

Janome Supplies Required

Memory Craft 11000, 10001, 10000, 9700, 9500
Memory Craft 350E, 300E (Embroidery Only)
DigitizerPro
Stitchitize 12 Days of Christmas (CH 138- 149)
Rectangular hoop (RE) or the B hoop
Embroidery foot P
Embroidery thread according to design
Metallic thread M003Gold
Janome Bobbin wound with #239 Sunflower embroidery thread
Water soluble stabilizer
Red tip 90/14

Creating the Ornament
1. Open DigitizerPro>EasyDesign
2. Click on drop down hoops selections and select B or RE hoop depending on machine.
3. Click the Embroidery Gallery icon. Select Bdr3. Click OK.
4. Click twice. Press Esc on your keyboard. Position the design on the center of the hoop.
5. Click on Select.
6. Click Object Details. Click on Dimensions tab. Increase the size to 5.5 inches wide by 3 inches high. Click OK.
7. Click Embroidery>Insert Design. Open Stitchitize Ch138.
8. Click Edit>Group.
9. Clicking and drag the Christmas design into the center of the scroll design placing where desired.
10. After the design is placed where desired Edit>Select All>Group.
11. Click and drag the design to the upper portion of the hoop.
12. Repeat the above steps for the next design, placing into the lower half of the hoop. Two ornaments will fit in the RE (B) hoop.
13. Place two layers of the sparkle organza with a layer of water soluble in the hoop.
14. Stitch out the designs.
15. Remove from the hoop.
16. Cut close to the design.
17. Rinse in warm water but do not rinse the stabilizer out completely. It will stiffen the ornament as it dries.
18. Using the gold thread make a hanging loop.
