Janome Harmony 2049
I was given a Janome Harmony 2049. I want to do small rug mugs and quilt them. I got a free motion presser foot. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to lower the feed dogs. The manuals I found online don't exactly Match my machine. It says there's a just a lever and push it to lower the feed dogs. there is no lever. I"ve turned this thing inside out, I've looked online til I was blinded lol. There's no lever! Could this be a machine that needs a plate to cover the feed dogs? and if so what's that called so I can look for one online? Thank you.

I just went looking for this same thing. It is the vertical bar to the right to the bobbin case and does not look like a lever. Push down and to the right on it to lower the dogs.

To raise the dogs, put it back in the original position and manually walk it forward a stitch.

(PS I do not advise dropping your machine while looking ) Content is edited
