Trish Stitched Reviews the Skyline S9

Review and Embroidered Clutch Project

A few months ago, we asked Trish of Trish Stitched to test out the Skyline S9 and were so excited when she said yes! Trish has been a huge fan of Janome machines since she has been a teenager. She enjoys sewing different garments and bags. We were also happy to recently add Trish to our talented team of Janome Artisans.

Trish mentions that the Skyline S9 comes with everything you need to get sewing or embroidering. She has sewn a lot of beautiful pieces with this machine over the past four months. Trish also notes that switching to embroidery is as easy as pie. Attaching the unit is quick, simple and doesn’t take up that much room.

There is another feature on the Skyline S9 that makes it one-of-a-kind to Trish, it is the Wi-Fi capabilities. You can easily download embroidery designs from your computer or iPad and send it straight to your machine. Trish also mentions that she appreciates the automatic thread cutter button.

Overall, Trish loves working with the Skyline S9 machine. The only annoying feature to her is the bobbin thread sensor. She mentions in her review that it would go off when there was still a decent amount of thread left on the bobbin.

Using the Skyline S9’s sewing and embroidery functions and the Anna Maria Horner Limited Edition Embroidery Kit of threads, fabrics and stabilizers, Trish made a gorgeous embroidered floral clutch. Click here to read Trish’s full review and learn how to make her beautiful bag.
