    Quilt-As-You-Go Strip Quilt

Brick quilts are a perfect type of quilt to use a variety of mix and match fabrics when the bricks are divided by a solid color or a subtle tone-on-tone. This quilt that Janome Artisan Samantha Walker made with her Horizon Memory Craft 15000, uses fabric from five different collections that have all been retired from Riley Blake Fabrics.

Samantha wants to challenge you to "use up your stash." Click here for her tutorial on how to mix and match fabric to create a beautiful brick quilt.

Make a Sewing Room Easel Organizer

After publishing a New Year's article, Sew4Home noticed that most people's resolutions for 2016 were to get more organized. The team designed a handy organizer to sit on an easel stand where it can hold a few important sewing items. The organizer also acts like a clipboard for instructions and patterns you may need to reference while sewing.

Using the Skyline S7, Sew4Home designed the organizer to be similar to a large envelope; to hold glasses, notes, a pen and other tools. In addition, Sew4Home also made a detachable pincushion.

Start getting organized today by following Sew4Home's step-by-step instructions. Click here!
