snap on feet
The feet that came with my DC5100 are stamped "A", :E:, etc. Is there a chart showing the names of the feet that correspond?

If you check your manual, there will be a name for each foot. I know that the "A" foot is the standard sewing foot that will do a zig zag stitch. The "O" foot is the ¼" foot, the "G" foot is the blind hem foot, The "M" foot is the overcast stitch foot. The "F" foot is the best for doing decorative stitches and appliqué because it has a ridge that lets the stitches flow under the foot an doesn't jam up - the "A" foot will sometimes not feed well doing a zig zag, but is usually OK with it. Those are just a few that I can remember off the top. There is also an "APP" called the Foot Book that costs somewhere under $10 in the Apple App store, only for Apple iPhone and iPad, but excellent as it lists all the feet, with a short video on how to use them.
