Janome Supplies Required
- Any Janome Sewing Machine
Fabric and Notions Required
- ¼ Inch foot O
- Pattern: Burda Pattern BS-008 or any other bow tie pattern
- 2/3 yard fabric (you will get two out of this)
- Bow Tie Hardware

Instructions:
- Using the pattern you chose cut on the bias. Fold a corner of your fabric up to edge press or use a piece of chalk or disappearing fabric marker to mark the line fold, this will be the bias of your fabric. Place the grain line along this line to cut your tie on this bias.(see pictures)
- Place ¼” foot on machine and stitch around tie pieces right sides together, leaving an opening for turning.
- Using a tube turner, turn tie pieces right side out. Smooth and press flat.
- Place hardware on ends of tie pieces. Tie the pieces to form bow tie. Adjust the slide side of tie to adjust to neck size.
- Be handsome and debonier!
