Fabric and Notions Required
You will need:
5 x 6inch Linen or half linen (I bought at JoAnn.com)
5 x 6inch Cotton print
5 x 6inch Cotton print for pocket
5 x 3inch Quilt batting
Polyester fiberfil
Leather string or Ribbons

Instructions
*Measurements include 1/4” seam allowance. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
1.Cut a bottle, a cap, a rolled paper as pattern. Place on the linen and stick each pieces using a school glue stick or fabric glue.
2.Sew outline 1/8inch inside of raw edge with bright color thread. Stitch length is 2.0.
Change into dark color thread and sew outline right. Stitch length is 1.6 to 1.8. Sew slowly.
*For the pincushion I DONOT recommend fusible web for it’ gets hard to pin.
3.Fold in half pocket fabric and insert quilt batting in between. Machine quilt.
4.Place the pocket on top of linen and pin. Trim off the excess batting.
5.Place the back piece on top of linen, right sides facing, sew along leaving a gap for turning.
6.Turn right side out, fill in polyfil and close the opening by blind stitch.
