I bought my first Janome in or around 99-01 and it was the Limited Edition of this model. I have almost worn it out making clothes and objects for my house. I was a little surprised that it is still available as machines change from year to year. I will say this, Janome makes a solid machine and this one was forgiving for a newbie at the time!

The HD1000BE from Janome has been so comfortable to learn on. It is smooth, powerful, consistent, and offers everything I have needed and more so far for me to do anything that I want, learning and exploring. I personally love its Black body color way. I am so excited, I just ordered the HD serger machine in the same color, I can’t wait till it arrives!!!
