NEED HELP Please
I have the Memory Craft 9850. Machine is only a month old.
When I try to sew with it - the bobbin thread continues to snap after just a stitch or two. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it.
Hoping someone can help me asap.
Thanks in advance.

Take it to your dealer - it is very new and under warranty so the cost should be NIL.

Also make sure the bobbin is wound correctly and inserted in the right direction. Content is edited

Did you get your 9850 up and running?

I am having a similar problem with the memory craft 9850 purchased from costco. The bobbin cases move from their intended positions and break the thread and bend the needle. The machine is less than 6 months old. Any suggestions?

First of all to folks who didn't use a "Dealer" to purchase their machines - FIND A DEALER so that you can get some service for that lovely machine you have.

I think that those you are having thread breaking issues, find some YouTube videos on "how to thread it correctly". There are lots of videos to learn to operate your sewing machine - YouTube, Facebook and probably others as well, but Google you machine and then check on these Social Media groups for help. You will get pictures, some better than others, but you'll learn. I think that your issues with your machines stem from the threading of your machine. If your needle ever bends, breaks for hits a pin or jams - CHANGE IT. When you run into problems, re-thread, both the top and the bobbin and I mean start from the spool of thread at the top. If anything is missed on the thread path, you'll have issues. If the bobbin is inserted incorrectly (ie: thread coming off the bobbin on the wrong side) you will also have problems. Since some of you are "new" to this machine, don't take it for granted that you threaded it correctly - even those of us that have been using Janome machines for 40 years or more can make a threading error from time to time.

Also, when you ask for help PLEASE give a very detailed description of what the problem is, what you have done to try to correct it. More information is better than not enough.
