I bought my machine about 14 months ago and love it.
I was stitching a left needle flatlock, using the workbook and CD. I felt I had the machine set up properly and the needle broke. I put in a second needle same thing. Both were Janome serger needles. The third time the machine started to work properly and then the stitches would not roll out. Instead, they collected in one clomp on the bar.
I needed a razor blade to cut through the clomp.
I stopped sewing, of course, and took the machine to my dealer. They have had the machine for 6 weeks and say it is the needles under the faceplate that are the problem
They ordered the parts 6 weeks ago and still haven't received the part.
One explanation is that the part has to come from Japan, and they have no idea when it will get here.
If I had known parts were such a big problem, I would not have bought a Janome 2000D air threader. I have a Janome Sewing machine and had an older Janome serger and have had no problems.
Is there something you can do to expedite the order?
