Stitch regulator availability
I have a 9450 and the Grace Surestitch says it works with the 9400 and their tech support says not tested with 9450. I have a Gracie Queen frame given to me but can't get my 9450 working well on it because of no stitch regulation. Any one here know it there is a stitch regulator that will work on the 9450?

There is NO Janome stitch regulator for the 9450. I don't think I would be using a generic one on a machine as expensive as the 9450. If you want a stitch regulatr you'd need to upgrade to the Continental M17 and that would be thousands of dollars more money. I don't thank that Jane will come out with a stitch regulator on any of the models that are currently in their line-up, but who knows what the next updated sewing machines will have added to them, but the price point will definitely rise with that addition as well.

  2. RE: Stitch regulator availability

    Hi
I have a different model of the Janome serger, but I get the identical issue while performing the 2-thread flatlock: I break two distinct needles. Janome needs to provide some clear directions on how to make this work because I'm not wanting to break funny shooter 2 anymore, and I don't want to take my machine in if doing so will result in a long wait for replacement components.
