    The Perfect Back-to-School Gift

What do kindergartners have in common with the Janome Skyline S5? Variety, energy and endless entertainment.

Janome blogger Milinda Stephenson has made a lot of different things with the Skyline S5; dresses, pants, pillow covers and baby clothes. She has loved the feel of the machine, its power, ease-of-use and endless variety of stitches. It wasn't until yesterday that she fell in love with the machine all over again.

When kindergarten teacher Carla Santiny needed 20 Seat Sacks for her classroom, her mother and Milinda volunteered for the job.

Seat Sacks slip over the back of any chair. The integrated pocket provides efficient storage space for papers, pencils and art supplies. Seat Sacks minimize distractions and help keep energized kindergartners on-task. Little ones love having a place of their own to keep their stuff and the classroom stays much neater.

Yesterday, Milinda's Skyline S5 powered through 20 Seat Sacks in record time. Her favorite Skyline feature for this project was the 9mm wide zig-zag stitch which enabled her to create neat edges on 1/2" seams.

Milinda included clear step-by-step instructions for you to sew your very own Seat Sacks for your teacher friends.
