Expand Your Sewing Creativity in 2017

You work hard all year long, so treat yourself to a fun-filled Sewing Escape retreat with Janome and Sew4Home. Our friends from Wish Upon a Quilt in Raleigh, NC are excited to host this great event! The retreat will take place this next Friday, January 20 through next Saturday, January 21 at the NC State Fairgrounds, Gov. James G Martin Building, 1025 Blue Ridge Blvd. in Raleigh. 

During this amazing weekend, you will have your own sewing machine to sit at and will sew three full projects - the pillow kit even includes the pillow form! The steps to complete each project will be clear and easy-to-understand, for which Sew4Home is famous! All materials, tools, machines, lunch and snacks are included in the $199 registration fee. There will also be door prizes and giveaways, along with a chance to win a prize valued at $800!

Granny Square Pillow for All Year Long

"One of my favorite holidays is Valentine's Day - the candies, colors and all around feeling of love. My home starts to feel a bit empty and not as colorful during the time after the holidays when I put all of my Christmas decorations away. Instead, of filling my home with hearts for Valentine's Day, I like to take a different approach to decorating by using some of the symbolic colors of the holiday (red and pink). 

By using just solids, you can create a project you can definitely leave out all year long. I chose a selection of Robert Kaufman Kona solids, but feel free to change up your liking or add in some fun patterned fabrics as well." - Janome Maker Nicole Daksiewicz or Modern Handcraft.

Nicole made this wonderful pillow using the Horizon Memory Craft 9400QCP. Make yours for this Valentine's Day and feel free to leave it up all year long!
