Did someone say "Candy?" Really, I smell chocolate. Maybe it's just this sweet candy bag designed by Maddie that makes one think of all things yummie. Make this for Easter or Valentine's Day...any occasion that could use an eye catching satchel of goodies. (We know- who needs an occasion for chocolate!)
Finished basket will be 4” square on the bottom with 3” sides coming up.

Drawing instructions
Draw a box 16” x 7”
Draw two 1” lines down from the third box (this will be the opening for turning it right side out.)
Draw a 1” x 2” box. On the upper left hand side–This will be for the button hole.
Draw 3 lines up from the bottom – 4” apart. Mark a stopping line across the top.
Place the print fabric underneath the solid fabric (right sides together)
Place the batting on the very bottom. For the three - 4” line stitch on right hand side of the line, turn at the top and take two stitches and then stitch down on the left hand side of the line. Be sure that the stitches are not on the line. This will need to be cut later so stitches may not overlap.
