- Set-up the Memory Craft for Professional-Style Embroidery. Insert a Blue Tip 75/11 needle. Place desired color Janome Embroidery thread in the needle and Janome bobbin thread in the bobbin.
Small Pocket:
- Insert PC Design # 1013 into the Card Slot. Select Design #2.
- Press Edit. Press the Size key. Enlarge the design to 120%. Press OK.
- Fold the 6" x 10" fabric rectangle in half lengthwise to find center. Place a mark on the center line 2 1/2" up from the bottom.

- Using the Clothsetter, match the mark on the fabric with the crosshairs on the Clothsetter to set the fabric in Embroidery Hoop A.
- Stitch out the design.
- Set up the Memory Craft for Ordinary Sewing. Place desired color of all-purpose sewing thread in the needle and bobbin. Snap on Zipper foot E.
- With right sides together, sew one edge of a 7" zipper to the short raw edge of the embroidered end. Press seam as sewn. Next, fold back the zipper to expose the teeth and press on the right side. Topstitch close to the folded edge.

- With right sides together, stitch the other side of the zipper to the opposite short end raw edge. Press the seam as sewn. Fold back the zipper to expose the teeth and press on the right side. Topstitch close to the folded edge.
- With right sides together, position the zipper approximately 3/4" from the top. The zipper needs to be on the same side as the embroidery. You created a tube. Secure sides with pins.

- Open zipper about 2". Place a piece of adhesive tape across the open zipper so that the zipper teeth are secured from end to end.
- Attach the 1/4" Seam Foot O. Stitch down both open sides. Trim excess zipper. Remove the adhesive tape.

- Press the seams as sewn. Turn the pocket right side out. Set aside.
Back Section:

- With right sides together sew the 7 1/2" side of the 7 1/2" x 4" rectangle to the opposite side of the zipper.

- With right sides together, sew the other 10" zipper to the opposite side of the 7 1/2" x 4" rectangle.
- Sew the other 7 1/2" x 7" rectangle to the other side of the zipper.

- If necessary, trim fabric pieces so that they are all even. Do not trim the zippers.
- Straight stitch across the bottom of the zippers, to add stability to the piece.
Note: With both 10" zippers and all three sections joined the size should be approximately 17 1/2" x 7 1/2".
Attaching the Small Pocket:
- Snap on the Satin Stitch foot F.
- Open the zipper on the small pocket and position 1 1/4" up from one of the short ends of the unit just created.

- Using a straight stitch, edge stitch the small pocket in place.
Note: Start sewing at the center bottom. Sew the bottom and then up one side. Repeat for the other side.
- Close the zipper and set aside.
Back
- Cut the hook and loop tape in half to equal two 1 1/2" pieces. Center the tape at each end of the 17 1/2" x 7 1/2" back rectangle piece 1 1/4" in from the raw edge. Edgestitch both pieces of tape in place.

- Fold the back piece in half lengthwise to find center. Pin one end of the Marabou or cord on the center mark. Repeat for the other end of the Marabou or cord.

Assembly:
Note: The side with the hook and loop tape is the right side.
- With right sides together, pin the front (Embroidered pocket unit) on top of the back.
- Snap on the 1/4" Seam Foot O.
- Sew both short ends and the long side that does NOT have the zipper keys. This will secure the pieces but allow the zippers to be opened.

- Open the zippers approximately 2". Place a strip of adhesive tape across the teeth to hold them in place.
- Sew the remaining long side.
Note: Make sure that the Marabou or cord is safely tucked inside away from the stitching line.
- Remove the adhesive tape and trim the excess zipper on both the top and bottom.
- Open one of the zippers and turn the bag right side out.
- Press as needed.
